Welcome to the HAJ GRIEVANCE mobile application ("App") developed and maintained by the West Bengal State Haj Committee. By accessing and using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Purpose of the App

The HAJ GRIEVANCE App is designed to facilitate the submission and tracking of grievances related to Haj pilgrimage activities. Users can submit complaints, track their status, and communicate with relevant authorities for resolution.

3. User Eligibility

To use this App, you must:

• Be a registered Haj pilgrim or authorized representative
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Use the App only for lawful purposes related to Haj grievances

4. User Registration and Account

4.1 Registration Process

Users must register using a valid WhatsApp number. OTP verification will be used to authenticate the registration process.

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Data Privacy and Protection

5.1 Personal Information

We collect personal information including name, phone number, Haj cover details, and grievance-related information to process and resolve your complaints.

5.2 Data Usage

Your data will be used solely for the purpose of processing and resolving Haj-related grievances and improving our services.

5.3 Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Grievance Submission

6.1 Content Guidelines

When submitting grievances, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and factual information
• Use respectful and appropriate language
• Include relevant details and supporting documents
• Not submit false or misleading information

6.2 File Uploads

You may upload supporting documents (PDF, JPG, PNG formats) up to specified size limits. All uploads must be relevant to your grievance.

6.3 Audio Recordings

The App allows audio recording for grievance submission. Ensure you have permission to record and that the content is appropriate.

7. Communication and Updates

The App facilitates communication between users and Haj Committee officials. All communications should be professional and relevant to grievance resolution.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Submit spam, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the App's functionality
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools or scripts to access the App

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by the West Bengal State Haj Committee and are protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

The West Bengal State Haj Committee shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or inability to use the App.

11. Service Availability

While we strive to provide continuous service, we do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our discretion, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically applicable to West Bengal State.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the App or other appropriate means.
